The Parish Council co-opted the Ss Johns’ Development Committee; June 2001. This comprised of Peter Dohnt, Gary Lyness, Mike Touzel & Cliff Tann. Anne Mercer was co-opted at a later stage. The Committee was given a choice of tasks and chose to construct four units on the unused land adjacent to the Church as it's first project.This proved to be an exciting and challenging task; some of the responsibilities were to develop a financial strategy, building plans, legal documents, selecting building materials & furnishings etc, purchase additional adjacent land, and supervise the construction. We now have a high quality complex beautifully landscaped available for sale for about $230,000-$245,000 (at time of posting). |
